JPA Scholarship

I was sleeping soundly on my bed, and was dreaming on fantastic yet impossible + incredible things. But then, my handphone rang, pulling me away from my slumber.

I opened and had a look. It was a message which asked me whether i'm going for dance club anot. Then very soon after that, another message came.

'Which day are you being called for interview?'

What interview? The list comes out already?? Quickly i took my laptop and went down to level 1 of my hostel, connected it with the wireless and online.

I checked and i found that my interview day is on 3rd of April, 10am, at Putrajaya.

Luckily it doesn't crash with my driving test, if not i really don't know which one should i go for.

Nevermind. At least i've been shortlisted, and it's a good thing to say! Hope i can ace the JPA scholarship interview with ease!

I keep my fingers crossed. God bless me. I'm gonna get the JPA scholarship(provided that i'm really that capable).

Aja-aja fighting jie min~! Gambathe on that interview day!!!

LOL~~!

*you might be wondering how i can write blog on this friday morning when i'm supposed to have classes. Well, i was absent, because i've got sick! Sorethroat, cough, and a bit of fever. OMG..thankfully i'm getting well already..hopefully xD

In fact, a friendship can last longer than you think..

Yesterday i was having 3 non-stop long practical lessons. Only being trapped in science labs with all people wearing so bright white didn't really cheer me up, but someone had successfully enlightened my day.

I was listening to my chemistry lecturer briefing on our experiments(well, gases tests!), and then my handphone vibrated suddenly.(luckily i set my phone in silent mode) Hiding behind my friend, i took out my phone and had a look. It was a strange number.

I let the phone rang and then stopped by itself. I know it was a miss call because after that i saw a message sent to me a couple of minutes ago. I opened the message and..

MY DEAR!!!!!

SHE SMS ME!!! SHE REMEMBERS ME!!!

Can you ever believe that? Have you ever come across a friendship which arouses again after 5 to 6 years of staying dimly and indistinctly? Alright, the 'she' who sms me was my best friend when i was in primary school. Oh no, should i say, she is always my best best buddy.

She said she miss me, and asked me about my recent situation. I was so happy and triumphant, of course i always remember her, as my forever intimate, and she never forgets me, as her long-lasting friend. I acknowledge that we have lost contact for quite a long while, but it doesn't come to an end. Our friendship just rested for a short moment, and it still stays and remains in our hearts.

Although we have not met each other for years, we are still alive vividly in each other's minds, and it shall not fade. Friendship forever, this phrase was not created just for fun. It exists with evidences and proofs in our real life.

So you guys out there, do cherish every friend you have now. Friends are not a tool. Instead, do think that friends are like a shoulder, they are always there for you to lean against when you are upset; and friends are like a shining star in a night horizon sky too, it might disappear when there is a mist, but it will definitely reveal again when the sky is clear, and continue to brighten up you life and pull you away from dark abyss..

And do bear in your mind that, i'm one of your friends too.. =)

Tell me why

Somebody sent me an e-mail, and it is a 10-year-old boy singing a song entitled 'Tell me why'.

And his powerful yet splendid and clear voice mesmerised me. Indeed. Come, let me share the video with u --

And the lyrics touched my heart truly and deeply :
In my dreams children sing
A song of love for every boy and girl
The sky is blue the fields are green
And laughter is the language of the world
Then I wake and all I see is a world full of people in need

Tell me why, does it have to be like this
Tell me why, is there something I have missed
Tell me why, I don't understand
When somebody needs somebody
We don't give a helping hand
Tell me why

Every day I ask myself what I have to do to be a man
Do I have to stand and fight
To prove to everybody who I am
Is that what my life is for
To waste in a world full of war

Tell me why, does it have to be like this
Tell me why, is there something I have missed
Tell me why, I don't understand
When somebody needs somebody
We don't give a helping hand
Tell me why
Tell me why
Tell me why
Just tell me why

Why why, do the tiders run
Why why, do we shoot the gun
Why why, do we never learn
Can someone tell us why we cannot just be friends
Why Why

Oh, tell me why there are people in our world suffering in plights and disasters.

SPM results released

Today is the releasing date for SPM results, and it had been a great and nervous and disappointing day for me..

I went to school at 10 am, and many people were already there, with several but almost the same expression portrayed clearly on their faces - nervous. We all just couldn't wait for the result to come out, but at the same time, we didn't hope to know our results so soon!

5s got their results the earliest, then 5E. The students of 5E were so agitated when they saw miss assunta walking into canteen, and a few minutes later, a malay female teacher walked to our 5K group and asked,

'Kelas 5K?'
'Ya..'
'Okay, Mari sini.'

'AAAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH' So unexpectedly,(we were just searching for pn asma before that), we just shouted our lungs out uncontrollably. We all gathered around, with fast-pounding heart, scanned our results from the first name - fang jayne, then kah ooi, mae jen, shuat lee, .......

Then it was my turn!!!

My heart nearly sank when i saw my result :

--9A1s and 2A2s--

Why? why? why??? Why had i got A2s for EST and BC?? I nearly damned the result at that moment, but then i calmed a bit...because i found that weng hoong has the same result as mine! Weng hoong give me five!

But frankly speaking, i was quite disappointed. So far i'm hoping to get 11A1s, but it seems i can't meet my aim. Alright, it's ok, at least i've got full As, and my parents and relatives are satisfied with it. Okay, i'm really okay with my SPM results now!!

Enough of SPM results, kah ooi, richard and i headed straight to Jonathan's house, and then we went to 1U by jon's mum's car. That was the greatest time i had so far this year that i have to admit, although we just strolled in that mall with zero direction. When it was lunch time, we went to the Shakey's Pizza and i dare say..

It SUCKXXXX!!!!

Because there were only 2 waiters there doing all the stuffs, and when we were taking order, the telephone rang, and the waiter said, 'sorry, telephone rings', and he just went off to receive call, leaving us with totally 'zadao' faces..and the food...i just don't understand why it doesn't taste nice, and why it just makes us feel so FUULLLLL.....

At least we ate something for our lunch ya. And we met weng hoong and jiun shyan, and went to do a free scalp analysis there. =) It was fun and for the first time i know weng hoong and jonathan are having oily hair, like me. +P

We then took 2 taxis back to ktm station where jiun shyan parked his car there, and we went back home by his car. Honestly, we risked our lives actually when he drove..and his jeep car was so packed and well, small...

But i arrived home safely. Thanks ya jiun shyan. ^^

Later gonna watch 10,000 BC. Yeah! It's a great movie!

Haha~~~

Driving!

Today morning was a tiring morning. All my limbs are now like wanting to collapse and break apart from my body.

Today practiced on the road and parking, and then learnt three-point-turn. It's not difficult after all, but my legs and hands were tortured. I really really(^1000) hate pressing on the clutch and turning the steering!!

Everytime when i did parking or three-point-turn, i had to turn the steering left or right to the maximum, then release clutch a bit, reverse, then brake again. Then turn steering to the other side, release clutch, brake. Turn, release, brake.

Turn, release, brake.
Turn, release, brake.
Turn, release, brake...
&*@#$%*!&@$#%*&(!!!!

Sien ar! My left leg resting(okay, it wasn't really RESTing, it was stretching my muscles to an unbearable level!) on the clutch was really tired, and my hand just kept on turning the still-like steering which was quite disobedient to bring the kancil car to where i want it to go. Alright! I don't believe i couldn't conquer it!

Anyway, after all, my driving lessons are going on smoothly..although i admit that my car did 'sei fo'(engine just off by itself...because i released clutch too soon!) for a few times, and nearly got stuck in traffic.

But it's normal for a novice like me, i suppose.(swt) My driving test will be on 1st of April(April fool ya), and i'm gonna skip my lessons on that day. If you don't mind, please do some prayers for my test. I must PASS!!!!!
so that i can drive to my college by myself soon..since nobody can fetch me there at all!

Learning driving is like that de lo~~ *my parents said* #,#

So that's latin dance!

To implement my promise i made last week to my friends, i decided to join HELP latin dance club today at 1-2 pm in my hostel.

And it brought us really so much FUN!!!!

After having the 'crazing' and seem-going-to-fail Physics test, pui sheon, ai ly and i meandered around HELP campuses while waiting for time to arrive. We sat in McDonald in main block and chatted, and intermittently interrupted by an old-looking waitress who was like too free until she kept on meddling our conversations, asking us to join what McDonald kids club(well, we are not kids!!!), and crapping about the coupons.

Alright, the waitress is not the main point. After that, we headed to Wisma HELP to attend the Planet Movers introductory meeting. Planet Movers is a human rights club, and the two presidents who are the founders are just simply beautiful and attractive. We just stayed there for a short while(though Planet Movers is really an interesting club and i'm gonna join it) and left for main block again with hui yi and sue anne to have the very first latin dance lesson!

Now the climax came. We as the newcomers(most of us are classmates! haha) learnt the basic steps, and soon i was invited to dance with a guy whom i didn't know initially, and he taught me the basic things about latin dance. And later after some time, i only realise he's jo eve's brother!

Haha! Quite coincident ya!
*PS: Jo eve is my hostelmate who's taking A-level too =)

I really thank that guy for teaching me patiently although i just seemed so clumsy and rude while i stepped forth and back, twisted and turned, and flung my hand out left and right. And it was really fun and exciting. It was the first time i got to know dancing, especially before this i could only see other people dancing with so much envy. +)

The moment when you move your body in tempo with music is really different from singing or playing music, and it's certainly enjoyable! I assure you! Everytime after we completed a dance with our own partner(okay, girls dance with guys), we would shout and clap happily for our success(although quite a number of us danced quite messily), because we did enjoy!

Come on! Let's dance together!

Dance for a purpose~Dance for your life~Dance for your sake!

Kaka~~~ ^^

I've changed, as many people said

Time doesn't fly, it swifts.

So soon, i have been in HELP for 2 months, and today is already a real new month for everyone. In these 2 months i have indeed changed a lot, no matter in the perspective of appearances or personalities.

I only realise my changes when i met Jonathan and Mei Thin in HELP yesterday. The first response i received from Jonathan was,

"Oh mum!(he's always used to call me mum) You've changed!!"

Well, i was quite shocked at that moment. I thought i'm still the Jie Min whom everybody is still familiar with, but in fact i'm a bit wrong.

This is not the first time my high school friends told me that i've changed, but the words of such emphasis on my changes from Jonathan shocked me for the first time, "do i change a lot?!"

"You look old ald la mum"
"Oh. Grown matured d?"
"Oh on mum. Old. You're really old d la."

What a thunder striking my ice-like-heart, and quickly my heart shattered into pieces. Oh well Jonathan, ladies hate people telling them they are old!!!

I bear..as his attitude is always like that. He doesn't change, but i believe he will change when he's started his studies. Life in college is not easy, when you really have to be independent to adapt yourself into a whole new and yet total unfamiliar environment.

I believe these 2 months do mellow me, and i'm slowly turning into an adult, a lady, a real woman, oh well, not an O-L-D person!!!
*be careful of your mouth ya jon!* xP

I'm back blogging again

Well, it had been quite some time since i last blogged. Lazy indeed.

Okla, i know i should be 'hardworking' a bit. A-levels is not easy girl! Till now tests are yet coming and i don't seem like bothering much..

Now more of my concentrations are focusing on the SPM results. Many possibilities i had heard of. 26th of feb, 28th of feb, 11th of march, and 13th of march. Can someone tell me the EXACT date? I'm so damn nervous. Last night i dreamt that i'd got 11A1s, and i was like floating high up the sky like a balloon, but at the second sight i looked at the result slip, OMG, i had B and C and D...

What a nightmare. Gosh! My aim is to get straight A1s(11A1s)! Hope it can really come true(especially i'm not so confident with my moral and est =( cry..)oh dear! I'm so damn nervous!

Mixed feelings. Haiz. And noe what, my NS camp is in Bintulu, Sarawak! It's such a nice place but i'm not going...okla, just miss a chance to take the aeroplane and enjoy the 3-month experiences. Alright, i shall repay it one day for myself, because i'm really longing to travel in east m'sia and get soaked in the beauty of nature!(Orang utans are so so cute =P)

Yesterday i didn't go back to my school to see choir. I mean, it's really time for them to be independent, although there's still a mess and seems to get messier. Not that i've got disappointed with them, i just feel that i really really have to say 'goodbye' to them..i noe they are always hoping we seniors can come back and help them, but sadly i can't. I shouldn't meddle too much as i had retired.

GO GO CHOIR!! Don't ever beaten down by failures and challenges! Have faith in urself! Lots of apologies for not going back for the 2nd time, but i really need to refrain from doing so. Moreover, i've got sick i suppose. Flu, cough, sore throat. Oh dear, tortured. And it's not good to spread the bacteria around in school ya.

HAARRRRR CCCCCIIIIIIIIIIIIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

Oh man. Caught a cold! =(

My CNY

Actually, nothing special about my cny...just visit relatives, eat, sleep, play...what a normal cny again...

But, the only thing that can really cheer me up is, the amount of ang pau money i received!!!

Guess how much is it?!

Haha...so far i've received RM900+ this year... and will be more...

That's the happiest thing that happens during my CNY...suddenly have the thought not to get married so that i can collect ang pau every year forever...

CHOY CHOY! CHOY!

新年快乐。鼠年行大运!

Yesterday night 'chu xi ye'. Reunion dinner in my grandma's house. The whole Lee family gathered together, eating steamboat.

Wow. So nice. My saliva flew out already. Why steamboat so tasty wan. I cooked a lot and ate a lot. cooked and ate. Cooked and ate. Fuiyo. Stomach wanna burst d.

Then we chatted. And played crazily with cousins. Making jokes, talking lots of craps are always our favourites, although we often meet each other, at least once or twice a week.

Today, day 1 of CNY. Chu yi. Last night slept late, but had to wake up early. What 接财神 wo. Then go 接 lo. Then went to Dato's house, met a lot of 'strangers'(my father's colleagues la), then went home.

Then go relative's house. I love going to their house, because every CNY i go there, i will receive at least 8 to 9 ang paus from there. Till now, let me count a bit, haha, i had received ang pau maney of RM 370! My 'main relatives' - uncles and aunts haven given me ang paus le. =)

Thanks wor for the ang pau. I just woke up, from my nap. Too tired just now after拜年. Now at my grandma's house waiting for dinner, then will go out again. Haha. My sister and 2 cousin sisters are still sleeping. Just now 4 of us squeezed in a queen-sized double bed! haha ^^

Actually, my CNY is just like a routine every year. The schedule is like already fixed, and we children already know where to go for the next destination. Haha. Anyway, the happiest thing is, we can get LOTS and LOTS of ANG PAUSSSS!!!!!!!

I'm like tooo excited. Ok. Control a bit. Chinese new year ma, cannot be like a monkey. And i can't enjoy much food today, eating vege only. 吃斋. So how's ur CNY? Enjoy ur happry golden rat year ya +) ahya. tired again...

祝你在鼠年啥喜事都'鼠'不完!

In the Mid of a Valley

Yesterday went to MidValley with my family, and i just whispered in my heart all the way to and back, 'wah! so many people!'

Of course there are many people going to Midvalley...or should i say precisely, many people are rushing to the malls now...1U, Sungei Wang, Times Square, The curve, everywhere is just crowded with people, indicating that Chinese New Year is coming!!!

I'm feeling so excited, although i had celebrated cny for 16 years. Just come to think of it, when there's cny, there's a holiday, and i don't have to attend classes, finish those seemed-not-going-to-be-finished homeworks, and most importantly, i can get many many ang paus! *yeah*clapping hands*

We went to MidValley by ktm, and for sure, time was wasted to wait for the 'dai pai' train to come, oh no, to crawl like a caterpillar to the ktm station. And when we reached MidValley, almost all the passengers leaved the train, and MidValley was just flooded with people. Slowly 'squeezed' into the mall, and it was the time for shopping! Long time no shopping-spreeee ya..

Looking around, wow, nike shop. And mayb my parents' mood was quite good, they bought me a nike shirt and a nike pants. =) so happy. +) And we walked and walked again, and most of the time was just accompanying my mum for her shopping. And guess what, my sister bought a cheongsam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG...she wants to wear cheongsam for CNY!!!!!!

Well, it's indeed surprising to know that...how dare she imitates me...because i'm wearing cheongsam too. Alright, my cheongsam is better than hers anyway. I bought the cheongsam of mine (the one i was wearing during Hari Patriotisme in school belongs to my mum) in China last month, a totally new pure-silk cheongsam. haha. let's see who turns out to be more beautiful. +P

We shopped and shopped, and it was damn hell tiring...i was wearing high-heel boots! Luckily i had used to wearing high-heels, if not i really had to go back home with naked feet. Then, dinner time! My favourite time. We fed our starving stomachs at secret recipe, and at 8 pm, there was a china acrobatic performance in the centre court. Well, it was nice, the girls could bend their bodies like chewing gum, and the muscular boys did their make-ups. Just cheered for them lor, they must have suffered a lot as an acrobat. Pity them.

After the show, went back home. And again i really cursed the train, i had been waiting for centuries, from only a few people waiting at the station until there was no space anymore to stand. Finally, the crawling train appeared, and all rushed and pushed. Gosh! I was like in a sardine tin, no no, the train was even more packed than a sardine. i didn't have to hold anything at all while standing to balance myself, because the people besides me could block me from falling down, preventing the inertia!

An hour later only back home. Well, shopping was over, and my blog should end now. Actually I don't know why i'm writing this blog, maybe i'm too lazy to study(esp for my tests on mon). Okay, i know i'm sitting in front of this laptop writing all these craps..haiz...enough of that. Lastly, wish you all a happy chinese new year!!! Remember to share your ang pau money with me ya...you 70 me 30...haha! *jk*
